Fresh out of High School Al moved to Arizona from Chicago. He was invited to be an instructor after putting on a Takedown clinic at a Jujitsu gym. That night after practice, Al was instructing Tucson Police

That night after practice, Al was instructing Tucson Police Officers and Active Marines in the class. Decades later and numerous reconstruction surgeries Al decided to Coach again.
